First steps in the vineyard
It all started with the wine trade – the core business of Maison Goichot in 1947. A profession that has evolved and grown, benefitting premiumization of selected wines. This activity took on its full dimension in 1976 when our father invested in a property: the Château de la Guiche. Also at this time he acquired the Bourgogne Chardonnay Les Dressolles in Meursault. This was a new decisive momentum in the history of the Maison and the family.
The story of the Maison centres around the wine trade business. The company has its roots in this profession and has developed thanks to André Goichot's relationship with many Burgundy winegrowers.

In 1976, the family purchased this château located in Jully-les-Buxy, Saône-et-Loire. It is on these lands that the Maison's first vineyards were planted in 1979. Today, this 0.7 ha plot of Chardonnay is the family's emblem.

In 2015, the Goichot family took over the exclusive distribution of this Domaine, located in Saint-Valerin near Buxy on the Côte Châlonnaise and extending over 10 ha. For the young generation, this new Domaine has created a sense of adventure, with a hint of challenge and risk.

In 2016, the Goichot family took over this grand Domaine, which was owned by the Perret du Cray family since 1798. Château du Cray has a 22ha wine Domaine, north of Buxy in Saône-et-Loire. The vines stretch around the castle, which is located in the middle of a hillside, and have a very fortunate east to south-east exposure.
