Plot
Only a few winegrowers have plots in the ‘Les Grechons’ climat, which is one of the eleven Ladoix 1er Cru. This wine is a 100% Chardonnay whose 40-year-old vines are grown at an altitude of 360 metres facing east.
Vinification / Aging
The grapes are pressed directly after harvesting, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The wine is aged for around 12 months before being prepared for bottling.
Tasting
Our Ladoix 1er Cru Les Gréchons is a beautiful straw-yellow colour. A very aromatic and expressive wine with aromatic notes of white flowers, yellow fruit and butter. A lovely attack on the palate, direct, round and generous, this wine is slightly buttery.
Food and wine pairing
Ideal with delicate fish dishes such as scallops, monkfish or even poultry dishes.
